Template:WrapItemsAfterSeparator

This template was designed to be used in creating well-formated lists of links in footer navagation boxes with adjacent items set apart by mid-dots (or other separators).

Its key feature is that individual items which contain spaces will not end up broken between two lines and hence become harder for the reader to recognize. Rather, line breaks will only occur immediately after the separator.

An example of such a box follows.

Usage

All parameters are optional.

The list of un-named parameters should not contain line-breaks, and its pipe-signs should have exactly one space on each side.
The title will appear at the start of the list, emboldened, and will be followed by a colon and spaces.
The separator defaults to a middot.

Equals signs in parameter values should be escaped as {{Equals}}. (Not as {{Eq}}, or as {{[[Template:Template:Equals|Template:Equals]]}}).
Pipes in parameter values can be left as they are when they are used to create piped links. Otherwise they should be escaped as {{!}}.

There is currently a limit of about 400 items: any more are silently ignored.

Examples

The basic usage, and probably most useful, is simply a list of items, which will normally be links, marked off by the pipe symbol (|), with exactly one space, and no carriage returns, on each side of it.
